Perox-SG®

Peracetic acid bases terminal disinfectant.

Product Overview:
Is a free-rinsing, peroxyacetic acid-based liquid sanitizer. This unique product offers many advantages over conventional quaternary ammonium and chlorine. There is no cell resistance build-up or foaming tendencies as associated with quats, is not as sensitive to organic or hard water conditions, and will not corrode stainless steel like chlorine. Furthermore, Perox-SG® is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms, and is one of the most effective sanitizers on the market. It can also be used as a no-rinse sanitizer (200 PPM). Typical applications are used by agricultural and horticultural buildings such as hog barns, hatcheries, poultry houses and all farming equipment. In addition, Perox-SG® is also used as a rinse-free raw fruits and vegetables sanitizer.

Composition:
Hydrogen peroxide and Peracetic acid

Mode of actition:
Perox-SG® stabilized hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) that dissolve in water (H2O) and release oxygen (O2). The free gaseous oxygen will scrub along the biofilm, release it and dissolve it. ACTION: Perox-SG® decomposes in O2, H2O and CO2, 3 natural elements. It leaves no residues.

Instruction for use:

  • For professional use only.
  • Dilute with water before use.
  • General disinfection: 1 L Perox-SG® per 200 litres of water.
  • Aerial disinfection (fogging): 1 L Perox-SG® per 10 litres of water.
  • Drinking water sanitation: 1 L Perox-SG® per 1000 litres of water.
  • Water system cleaning and disinfection, biofilm removal: 1 L Perox-SG® per 100 litres of water.

Warnings:

  • Do not use Perox-SG® 24 hours before vaccinations or treatments.
  • Use Perox-SG® only with teflon pumps (otherwise use a 1% dilution before passing through the pump). Heavy metals disrupt the hydrogen peroxide is suggested to avoid contact with them.
  • After its dilution in water, it must be used in the day.
  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use gloves, goggles and protective clothes.
  • Wash well with water and change clothes after administering product.

Warnings: First Aids

  • CORROSIVE. In case of contact with eyes, wash immediately with abundant water during 15 minutes.
  • In the case of contact with skin, wash with abundant water and call the physician. Look for medical attention immediately.
  • CONSERVATION: Keep in its original container, in a fresh place, protected from direct sunlight, and store at temperature between 15º and 25ºC. Keep out from the reach of children.

Storage:
Store in original container below 25°C. In a dry well ventilated area away from sources of heat or ignition. Protect from direct sunlight.
