PEROGEN-WT™ is a blend of Peracetic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Acetic Acid and surfactant in a stabilized aqueous solution. This unique product offers many advantages over conventional quaternary ammonium and chlorine. There is no cell resistance build-up or foaming tendencies as associated with Quats, is not as sensitive to organic or hard water conditions, and will not corrode stainless steel like chlorine. Furthermore, PEROGEN-WT™ is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms, and is one of the most effective sanitizers on the market use mainly in CIP system for tanks, pipeline etc. In food and beverage industry, dairy and water treatment system etc.

Mode of Action
Peracetic acid present in PEROGEN-WT™ when comes in contact with micro organisms, disrupts the function of the cell membrane and causes rupturing of the cell wall. It oxidizes the Sulphur bonds in proteins, enzymes and other metabolites, leading to sporicidal activity
Application and Dosage
PEROGEN-WT™ Hydrogen Peroxide with silver nitrate is recommended for use on pre-cleaned surfaces such as equipments, pipelines, tanks, vats, filters, evaporators, pasteurizers and aseptic equipments in dairies, breweries, wineries, beverage and food processing / packaging plants and egg processing and packaging equipment surfaces.

- Environmental disinfection, utensils and materials: (pulverization, nebulization, thermo fumigation): 1 liter of PEROGEN-WT™ in 250 liters of water.
- Maintenance disinfection (bacteria and fungus): 0.5 lt. of PEROGEN-WT™ in 100 liters of water.
- Shock disinfection (virus): 1 to 3 lts. Of PEROGEN-WT™ in 100 liters of water.
- Pediluvium, wheel bath disinfection: 250 ml. of PEROGEN-WT™ for 10 litres of water.
The product should be dissolved in water as follows:
Acidification and decontamination of the drinking water system.
Use PEROGEN-WT™ at a dilution of 300 - 400 ml per 1,000L of water, for 2 to 3 days per week on alternate days. In delicate periods 3 to 4 consecutive days.
Way of usage
- During the sanitary rest period. Clean the pipes and water deposits with a 2% PEROGEN-WT™ solution.
- Contact time: 4 - 6 hours.
- For acidification and disinfection of the animal’s drinking water system.
- Use PEROGEN-WT™ at the rate of 300 - 400 ml every 1000 litres of water, during 2 or 3 days per week, in alternate days.
- In critical periods, 3 to 4 consecutive days.
Contraindications:
Do not use in copper pipes. PEROGEN-WT™ Hydrogen Peroxide with silver nitrate is also used for bacterial eradication of process water, fruits and vegetables, air conditioning filters, pans etc.
Handling Measures and Precautions
Proper human safety products such as splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected. Indications
Removes the accumulation of organic and inorganic deposits. Its frequent use prevents the formation of deposits of calcium and calcareous iron. In water installations acidifies and guarantees the conditions of drinking water.
Reduces the problems of wet stools. It leaves no residue in the meat, so it can be used until the last day before slaughter.
Precautions
- PEROGEN-WT™ is an oxidizing agent, corrosive to the eyes and skin.
- Avoid all contact with skin, eyes or clothing.
- Do not inhale vapours given off by the product.
- Accidental splashes on exposed skin or eyes should be washed off immediately with plenty of water.
- Store upright in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
- Wear suitable protective clothing (e.g. aprons, coveralls, complete footwear, etc.), chemical resistant gloves (e.g. nitrite or butyl rubber) and face protection (e.g. face shield, goggles, mask, etc.) when handling the concentrate and during application of product.
- When applying product by spraying or fogging, wear chemical resistant respirator. Do not remain in treated areas. Ensure proper ventilation after sealed areas have been treated.
- Do not return unused concentrate to the container in order to avoid possibility of contamination.
- Keep out of reach of children
Withdrawal period
Do not use PEROGEN-WT™, 24hrs before vaccinations or medical treatments in drinking water.
Storage
Store in original container below 25°C. In a dry well ventilated area away from sources of heat or ignition. Protect from direct sunlight.
