Scale Removal & Control

SUPER-CID™ is recommended for removal of milk stone and other tenacious scales from milking plant and utensils. It should be used at a concentration of 1.0-4.0% v/v (1.0-4.0 liters per 100 liters) at ambient temperature to 60°C. Scale removal is faster at high temperature. Circulate a solution at the above concentration for 5-10 minutes before discharging to waste, followed by thorough rinsing to remove residues.

In-Place Cleaning of Dairy Plants

SUPER-CID™ may be used in two-stage in-place cleaning programmes, following treatment with an appropriate alkaline detergent, at a concentration of 0.2-1.0% v/v (0.2-1.0 litres per 100 litres) and ambient temperature to 60°C. It may also be used in acidified rinse CIP systems for cleaning of raw milk silos and lines.

To prevent contamination of milk by residues of chemicals, after treatment of equipment with the product, and before the equipment is used again it must be thoroughly rinsed with clean water.

Storage

Store in the original container below 25°C. In a dry well-ventilated area away from sources of heat or ignition. Protect from direct sunlight.
